The office is painted with a designer color and gets great natural light. Original wooden trim and hardwood floors create a warm and inviting space. There are lots of plants, including in a built-in bay window sill.
There is a desk to work at between clients, and a closet with a window for storing your belongings. The space is about 13' x 11' (not including the closet) and comfortably fits individuals, couples, and small groups. There is a double door and a white noise machine for sound privacy. Wall heater and space heater for winter and A/C for summer keep the space comfortable for you and your clients.
There are 3 other offices in the suite. A shared waiting room with a built-in window bench has a call light system clients flip on when they arrive. There is a shared kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, toaster oven, kettle, and shelves for food. The office is on the 2nd floor so is not wheelchair accessible. There is one shared restroom.
The office is in a 1920's, wood shingle building that is reached through a lovely courtyard with big trees and potted plants. Clients say it feels like a small oasis in the urban environment. We are a 10 minute walk from Ashby BART, a 5 minute walk to Whole Foods, Hashtag Poke, Smokehouse, a Pho shop, and Halcyon Park, and a short walk to the Elmwood shopping district. 2 Hour on street parking is generally easy to find.
Current available days and times:
$165/month for Monday evenings starting at 6:45 pm;
$225/month for Tuesday evenings starting at 5:30 pm;
$225/month for Wednesday evenings starting at 5:30 pm;
$225/month for Thursday evenings starting at 5:30 pm;
Discount available if you are interested in multiple days. Building is 24 hour access so you can work as late as you like.
(Rent is same each month, even if there are more or less than 4 of your rental days in a given month).
Rent includes biweekly professional cleaning, fiber optic wifi internet for surfing and telehealth, and all utilities.
Preference is for a licensed clinician, but I am open to an Associate or Intern under supervision. You must have liability insurance.
