JournalClub.io is a daily newsletter and podcast. We break down the latest academic research for working professionals in tech, healthcare, and science. We're a small, mission-driven company and we're growing fast. We’re looking for an organized, proactive Administrative Assistant to help us keep the trains running on time.

About the Role

As an Administrative Assistant, you’ll support day-to-day operations and help keep Journal Club running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include helping us release daily video episodes, assisting with sales tax filing in multiple states, some basic marketing tasks, organizing files, and general office management. You’ll handle a mix of consistent daily responsibilities and occasional one-off projects that support the team. This is a hands-on role that helps ensure small but essential tasks don’t fall through the cracks. This is an on-site position in our Point Richmond office (no remote option). The schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00am-1:00pm (20 hours/week).

No Experience Required

This is very-much an entry level role, so there is no experience required. That being said, you'll be expected to grow and learn only the job extremely quickly. Compensation $30 per hour, paid weekly. 20 hours per week.
