Multi-Talented Studio Manager needed for an established Pilates studio (oakland hills / mills)

compensation:$25 per hour for a probationary period. Upon completion of 90 days, you will receive a pay increase of $1.50 with satisfactory performance. At 6 months you will receive another pay increase of $1.50 with satisfactory performance.
The Studio Manager will assist an experienced studio owner with daily facility operations, logistical operations and support growth through collaborative planning and strategy. Projects/tasks will include:
-Physical studio space management, organization, and improvement projects
-Track retail sales, inventory and re-stock
-Light maintenance/cleaning/upkeep.
-Client and renter communications/scheduling
-Calendar planning, tracking and troubleshooting
-Assisting in visioning and implementing new strategies to improve efficiency and productivity
WORK BREAKDOWN: 40% physical in-studio work, light maintenance and organizing; 40% will be administrative/computer based to be completed in-studio. 20% of the work will be planning and strategies to support growth; You will work closely with the Studio Owner on projects. Great communication skills, creativity and a proactive approach are ideal. Timely communication with potential new clients is essential. (must answer calls, emails within 24hrs)
SCHEDULE: Approximately 16 hours per week. Shift times may be slightly flexible but will include at least 12 hours in-person work at the studio (4 hours at a time) 4 hours per week remote.
REQUIREMENTS:
•At least 1 year commitment
•Extremely organized and detail-oriented, proactive critical thinker
•Ability to work in-person at the studio spaces at least 12 hours per week, ~4 hours remote, if desired
•Interest in Pilates/fitness and commitment to helping others in their wellness and health efforts
•Ability to respond quickly to changing needs
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Client contact information and studio intellectual property must be kept strictly confidential
•Ability and willingness to lift and move equipment (with safety and guidance provided)
•Job will require some errands. CA driver’s license and insured vehicle required. (Mileage driven for work errands will be reimbursed but mileage for reporting to studio location will not)
--Ability to lift small and medium-size Pilates equipment/props up to 20 pounds
•Essential Skills Needed: Email, phone, scheduling software, Excel/spreadsheets, Online Scheduling (Vagaro—training can be provided)
DESIRED:
- Familiarity with Squarespace website builder, QuickBooks, Canva, Social Media.
