1 Make disposal appointments as needed - from monitoring the board
2 Dispatch drivers and prepare the Dispatch sheet
3 Create manifests as needed for all PMs
4 Make sure that drivers know when their EQ is being repaired (either OTR or in yard)
5 Manage new truck assignments (permit books, fire ext, walk arounds, schedule details)
6 Make sure that all changes in the board are approved and communicated to all shippers/receivers by email
7 Oversee all load clearance procedures by email
8 Route drivers and note layover locations on productivity sheet; compare layover locations v actual layover locations and REPORT by email +/- miles (make sure MR is aware by email)
9 Daily driver tracking (ending city, state, miles for previous days) **anyone with <600 miles per day should be discussed. Update and maintain the "Driver Productivity sheet" along with tracking HOME time (sep tab)
10 Monitor Driver appointment performance to ensure on time - even on the weekends (to be done by email)
11 Monitor logs and DVIR reporting - make sure that they are completed correctly - ie 1 trailer per DVIR, logs complete and accurate
12 Schedule RS DOT inspections and coordinate within the alotted schedule (assist MR with this task)
Shop/Yard - use Yard worker to do the leg work
1 Do weekly yard inspections and make sure yard is clean on Fridays (Complete Checklist w/ photos), gate locked *shop should be sending Patty the photos
2 Maintain the spare keys for all EQ
3 Make sure waste is shipped timely from shop (inlcuding trash & metal bins)
4 Make sure all EQ is stored and parked neatly in yard
5 Make sure garbage cans in yard are emptied and metal/garbage bins are scheduled as needed - yard must be kept clean
6 Make sure shop schedule is adhered to and communicate with MR regarding needed changes
Driver Recruiting
1 Driver screening for applicants - SEND ALL APPLICANTS THAT PASS INITIAL SCREENING TO Selene for COC, CDL run, Orientation
2 Maintain and run ads for drivers as needed on Craigslist
3 Set up new hires on Motive. Before they leave, confirm they're connected to the truck via bluetooth, review how to manage the app, maintain their logs and complete inspection reports.
4 Daily Assignment/Notation for all Unidentified Driving events along with daily reports of drivers who refuse to accept unidentified driving (all movements yard should be noted mechanic move)
