Inclusive Community Resources, LLC is a Berkeley-based supported living agency dedicated to empowering adults with developmental and/or physical disabilities. We are seeking friendly, reliable attendants to fill an exciting weekend position that we have available!

The basic function of the Weekend On-Call Attendant is to provide emergency coverage for all consumers of Inclusive Community Resources from 5pm Friday evening until 10pm Sunday evening every other weekend. The Weekend On-Call Attendant's responsibility is to provide companionship and support to ICR consumers in their home, work and social environments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1.) Provides companionship and support in home, work, transportation and social/recreational environments.
2.) Assists consumer to participate in typical community activities, as desired by the consumer.
3.) Provides individualized support and companionship to consumer with respect and sensitivity to each consumer's needs and preferences. This may include physical support such as bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, etc. It also includes household work such as meal prep, household upkeep, etc.
4.) Will complete ICR training curriculum and other required trainings.
5.) Other duties as assigned.

Compensation:

In exchange for making yourself available between the hours of 5pm Friday through 10pm Sunday during the weeks in which you are on-call, you will receive a base pay of $250. This money is guaranteed to you whether or not you are called in to work a shift! If you are called in to cover a shift, you will be paid $20 per hour for all hours worked.

Requirements:
You must be at least 21 years or older with a valid California driver license, valid insurance and a clean driving records. You must be able to pass the DOJ fingerprint clearance and a separate background check. You must already have or be able to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and a clear TB test. We are looking for someone who has at least 6 months of direct support experience with people with disabilities.
