40 something drummer/multi-instrumentalist looking to start or join an indie band in the east bay. The goal is good company, mellow jams & casual creative vibes. Would like to prioritize song-writing, recording, having fun and slowly building up tunes over time.
Over the years, I've played in bands all over the country ranging from hardcore punk, folk, country, metal, garage, psych, pop, etc. and have supported national/international acts. I've recorded and performed in some notable studios/venues and many, many more not so notable ones.
Influences: Yo La Tengo, Beatles, Pavement, Wilco, Big Thief, Elliott Smith, Neil Young, Throwing Muses, The Men, Neko Case, Deerhunter, Magnetic Fields, Belle and Sebastian
As the title reads, i'm a middle aged parent to a young kid which means i'm not available for late nights or touring. If that boring restriction sounds exciting to you then please reach out and let's share songs :)
