Quiet Drummer Wanted: blues/rock/country/ska (Maxwell Park/Oakland)

2 guitarists and a bassist are looking for a quiet drummer.

My view is that it takes quite a bit of experience to play quietly with sticks. If this is you, read on.

We have 2 goals:

1. Have fun at all times. This is our primary goal. Our prime directive, as it were.

2. Play excellent rock and blues at lower volumes.

We are very quiet for an electric band. So, we are looking for an experienced drummer with good dynamic control.

You need to be familiar with the stylistic differences between rock, blues, ska and country.

We are not in this for the money.
We frequently play for food, drinks and tips.
