I have many years of experience and know how to make the time you spend at the piano rewarding and productive. My lessons will show you how to practice efficiently and wake up the power of the ear to make music that is expressive and flowing.
Playing the piano is an invaluable resource for children as they develop cognitive skills and grow in feeling. And it is one of the best practices for keeping in-tune and in-spirit as an adult. The way I teach integrates whole body movement with piano technique. I am also a singing teacher and use an awareness of voice as a musical resource.
My students come from diverse backgrounds. Some are experienced musicians, others are beginners or have had music lessons long ago. I enjoy teaching children.

Bruce Loeb is a graduate of the UC Berkeley Music Department and studied at the Royal Dutch Conservatory in the Hague and at the Rubin Academy in Jerusalem. He is an accomplished pianist, accompanist and vocal coach. He also accompanies silent movies frequently at the Niles Essany Silent Film Museum in Fremont. He is on the faculty at the San Francisco Community Music Center.
