Up for sale is a Tenor saxophone made in 1912. Good playing condition, gets all the notes. Has a vintage classic sound.Very well made, only a few very minor dents that are barely noticeable and do not affect playability nor sound. A young student probably never played this horn because it is in amazing shape. Yes, the tarnish is there, more lacquer on the side that sits towards players body. It is a little musty smelling, but I cleaned it the best I could without taking it apart and giving it a bath. I oiled the keys and the pads seal so it is ready to play. I changed the neck cork to a padded tape, Comes with slightly used mouthpiece and a couple of new Vandoren number 2 reeds, lighter for easy playing. Comes with a very nice vintage Geib made in Chicago hard case that is in fully functional condition. If you need me to play it for you so you can hear that it plays all the notes fine, I am happy to play it for you. This is the DEAL OF THE DAY ! The finish on this horn is worn but it is a player. Great quality instrument for a saxophone enthusiast. I could sell this saxophone for at least $800. and more, but I do not want to be homeless. I need to sell as soon as possible. Please $400.00 cash only and pick up at Rasputin parking lot on Buskirk Avenue, Pleasant Hill Ca. Please leave your name,, phone number and best time to call you.. Thank you, Robert
