Super, super fun acoustic to play and work out complex fingering and arpeggios. When I purchased it, I also ordered the hard-shell case and two extra sets of strings. Buying this brand new, the guitar is $659.95, the case is $129.95, and the extra sets of strings are $27.95 each, so the pre-tax, pre-shipping total of all of these items was $845.80, plus almost another $100 in shipping. There were some finish flaws present when the guitar was brand new (some dust under the finish, and some grooves in the fretboard wood but no damage has occurred during the time I’ve owned this instrument, so this is in the same condition you could expect for one of these to be in when brand new (besides some wear on the strings). If it was any other luthier, you'd be paying at least a couple grand for an 8-storgn acoustic, but Agile manages to keep their prices very affordable. I had their multiscale nylon 7-string for a while and it was a very solid player.
I just ordered a new archtop so I need to make some space and recoup some of the investment, thus the listings you'll see on Craiglist of some of my (many many) guitars.
On that note: the strings on here are the ones that came with it, and they’re showing some wear. If you’d like for me to put one of the spare sets on so that it has brand new strings when you receive it, just let me know and I'll be happy to put them on, free of charge. Just note that I would then only be including *one* set of spare strings in the case instead of both.
