Although oiled and fired up occasionally over the ten years I have owned it, this M3 has not been used nearly as much as I had hoped, and it needs a real Hammond person to love and take care of it. Yes, I’m guilty of using the DAW Hammond stuff instead…. sorry.
This is a complete, ready-to-go package. I do not want to separate the units.
This is a Hammond M3 with a Leslie 21 H speaker. Both the M3 and the 21H fire right up and work well. The M3 and 21 H motors are strong and clean, and this package is listed as “in good condition.”
Both the M3 and 21 H are pretty much original, and, of course, the original Hammond cable for connecting them is included.
I recently had the tonewheel generator partway out, took a good look, and blew out any dust, but really, there wasn’t much dust there at all. The unit is completely original, clean, and oiled; it runs well and sounds good mechanically, with the motor, bushings, and moving parts all working properly.
All keys on both manuals work well, as do the drawbars and the percussion, pedal, and vibrato switches.
This M3 has the original speaker that works and sounds good, and the bass pedals work and sound good.
The 21 H original cabinet was refinished, so it’s not an original finish, but it looks fine. I did have the kit with switches for the Leslie installed in the M3, and it works well. I did not do the speed motor upgrade that many do on the 21 H.
This package is located in Redding, California. I will help you load it into your truck, or, for an extra $200, and with your help, I will transport both in a rented U-Hall trailer as far north as Eugene, Oregon, or south to Sacramento, or the S.F. Bay Area in California.
If interested, use the Craigslist Reply, and I will send you my contact information. I return answers to any questions quickly. With a serious buyer, I will do a phone call that can be arranged.
