For sale is this very cool custom thinline Telecaster/Partscaster! Selling because I simply have too many other guitars.
Specs:
The body was built in Florida by luthier Eric King of Red Hand Custom guitars.
- 1 Piece Honduran Mahogany Body
- 2 Piece AAA-Grade Flame Maple Top
- Nitrocellulose lacquer
- Cream binding
It has some finish imperfections, like some uneven sanding around the neck pocket, and a small knot in the top bout. The body still looks great despite this, and is very lightweight and resonant.
The pickups are a Seymour Duncan SH-55n Seth Lover neck, and a "Godzilla" boutique bridge pickup wound by James Overbay. The bridge pickup uses Formvar wire and Alnico 3 magnets. Bourns pots.
The bridge is a Schroeder Lightweight Aluminum Telecaster Bridge ($145), with compensated brass saddles. It is a lefty bridge so the guitar has a reversed bridge pickup.
The neck is from Warmoth.
- Modern construction w/ dual action side adjust truss rod. Roasted maple, dark rosewood fretboard
- Boatneck profile - very comfortable. Gibson scale conversion. 9.5" radius
- No front inlays, but there are white side dots so you still know where you are.
- 1.650 nut width, white Tusq nut and black Tusq string tree. 22 frets, not much wear.
- Gotoh tuners
