Fender American Vintage 50’s Hot Rod Telecaster from 2014 in excellent condition with maple fretboard in classic butterscotch blonde with single ply bakelite pickguard. This year’s hot rod series has nitrocellulose lacquer finishes and a 7.25”- 12” compound radius necks, features generally found together only on custom shop guitars.
I purchased the guitar on Reverb in May 2025 with the intention of modifying it, but ultimately couldn’t bring myself to tamper with it. The guitar is very clean, with only minor signs of use and a tiny finish chip on the side (see image).
The previous owner replaced the nut with a custom bone nut (original included), changed the saddles (originals not included), and had the guitar PLEK’d. It plays like butter! Everything else appears original. The case has a few blemishes, but presents fairly well. All available case candy is pictured.
The guitar weighs 7.7 lbs.
Happy to answer any questions.
