Obscure mid-1960s 40W tilt-back amp head & cab with smooth breakup and a nice poke-through-the-mix midrange when used clean with guitar or bass. There is a bit of an Ampeg B15 vibe, but the cabinet is very much of the Showman dimension, so it’s a bit more appropriate for guitar or baritone than bass. But it records bass VERY well at mid- or low-volume. Throw some humbuckers at it and jack up the treble and it sings for sure, without ever getting sharp. Blues machine. Very flexible in the studio.
Recapped, good tubes, ready for another 60 years. I suspect you can remove the baffle cover from inside the cab if you want to try cleaning the grille cloth — it does not appear to be married to the baffle permanently.
