This unit has amp and speaker cabinet modeling, wah pedal emulation, volume pedal functionality, modulation effects (such as ring mod, chorus, phaser, and flanger), guitar synth, distortions, overdrives, boosts, fuzz, delay, reverb, pitch effects (such as an excellent rendition of Digitech's famous "Whammy" pedal), a built in looper (and drum loops, as well, for practicing along to). The quality of the effects are great, and you can assign the built in expression pedal controller to almost any effect parameter. It even has an assignable LFO that you can freely assign to most parameters, as well, to add extra variation to your tones. Also,, you can change the order of the effects in your chain, freely.
On top of the effects/modeling, it also functions as a USB audio interface, and there is a PC/Mac-based editor app that you can use to program presets, if you prefer not to edit presets on the unit itself.
