I bought this amp head from Skip (of The Truth About Vintage Amps podcast fame) about a year ago. It looks cool, sounds amazing, but I'm in a downsizing mode. Skip is well known not only for repairing vintage amps but also modding old PA heads into guitar amps.
This takes 6AQ5 power tubes, which are readily available and close to a 6v6 but with a different pin configuration (afaik).
It has a volume, tone, and a variable resistor 6-position switch to further refine the tone stack. You can use 4, 8, or 16 ohm speakers.
