All original, solid mahogany. At the time this guitar was made Gibson was not using maple tops with their solid color Standards. As a result, they have an extremely warm, fat tone; the sustain is ridiculous, and you'll now it's solid mahogany when you just pick it up.

The case is a genuine Gibson Les Paul case, the original, plastic handle of wich was professionally replaced with a leather one at a luggage repair shop. And, it still has a key.

Aside from some buckle scuffing on the back of the guitar, and a few stickers on the case, it's all in excellent condition.
