For sale is my Lentz Traditional T (Telecaster). Scott Lentz is one of the go to US boutique builders when it comes to vintage-inspired Fender-style guitars. Lentz retired last year so no more new guitars unfortunately. I just got another Lentz T with a neck profile that I prefer and I cannot justify keeping both.
This one comes with the following specs:
Ash body w/ Mary Kaye nitro finish. Looks like it may even be a 1-piece.
Maple neck has a soft V to C profile: ~.91” at 1st fret, ~1” at 12th fret; 9.5” radius; 1.665” bone nut.
Original Lentz pickups + the usual 3-way switch + Vol/Tone Telecaster electronics.
Weight is <7 lbs (my scale says 3070 g = 6.77 lbs)
The original GG ivory case is included.
The guitar is in great condition but has various dings and scratches, as you would expect from a used guitar with a thin nitro finish (see pictures). The frets are excellent. The bridge saddles from 30th Street Guitars in NYC are the most comfortable Tele saddles I have ever played; your hand has no contact with any adjustment screws! Note that both pickguards (black and white) are included (see pictures) - just in case you want to change the look.
Asking: $3500. Acceptable payments: Cash and Zelle.
Happy to consider reasonable trade offers +/- cash. See list of interesting guitars at the end of this posting.
Local sales only - no shipping. I can meet in the SF Bay Area between Fremont and Point Richmond.
