Selling my Vintage 1981 Gibson Heritage Series Les Paul Standard-80 burst with beautiful flame top. I rarely play this guitar anymore after buying a Gibson 1960 Reissue that has a slim-taper neck. Before I acquired it in 1993, the previous owner installed now rare Seymour Duncan FS1NJ Full Shred Distortion pickups and push-pull pots to split the coils to give more tone options. The 1980's FS1NJ pickups were hand wound by the legendary Maricela Juarez. The guitar sounds and plays great with low action. No noticeable fret wear and only a few small dings. Lots of minor buckle rash (not from me) but not through the finish. See photos. Weighs about 9 pounds, 8 ounces. Comes with like new Gibson case. I don't have the original parts nor is the case original. Don't sent requests to reply to a personal email or to call. I only reply through craigslist. Will consider and reply to reasonable offers, sorry no trades.
From Reverb.com:
Gibson's first true attempt at a reproduction of the legendary '59 Les Paul Standard, the Heritage Series Standard 80 Paul remains mostly true to vintage spec with some subtle variations.
