I have for sale this Line 6 Variax JTV-59. The JT is from James Tyler, a well respected luthier. This is a modeling guitar which means it can replicate several different guitars and a few other stringed instruments. Line 6 chose the classic guitars when they designed this line up. Some examples, 1959 Les Paul standard and '59 classic, 1959 Stratocaster, some 6 and 12 string rickenbackers, a banjo, a sitar. Quite an array. Also has instant (turn of a knob) tuning changes. You can also design your own tuning and save it to be available at anytime. It is equipped with an on board rechargeable battery that last for several hours per charge. The charger for the battery is included too. It plays very well and is in near perfect condition cosmetically. Recently one of the control features started acting up and seems to be affecting one knob. The one you push to bring in a few more guitar options, mainly affected are the 12 string guitars. I'm reducing the price substantially for this reason (was asking $1050 before). Overall it's a great guitar and most of the selections are still functioning I bought it new during the pandemic (like a lot of guitarist did) but don't play it much now so it's for sale.
