This is the highly regarded and sought after Selmer Reference 54 Unlaquered Tenor Saxophone.
The Reference 54 is a modern recreation of the legendary Mark VI which benefits from better intonation and ergonomics while maintaining the best aspects of the mark VI. This horn has an amazing, broad, rich and deep sound.
This horn has been played professionally for 16 years and was taken care of amazingly. And even has been played alongside greats like Chris Potter.
The horn has usual wear from use over the years and it is in amazing condition with no damage.
If you are interested I could include a custom made Boston Sax Shop Heritage neck. It opens up the sound and is designed to have an edge on the stock neck. It fits like a glove and sounds great.
The case also comes with the sax.
I’m graduating and going off to college and selling it in order to cover college expenses.
