I acquired this guitar from the second owner a few years ago. I have changed the original tuners, tailpiece and replaced the nut with a bone one. I have all of the aforementioned original parts. It’s ready to gig and be used!
The original owner added gold strip decals on the headstock edges. They look kinda cool and are probably old waterslide model decals. They also scratched out the “junior” under the Les Paul silkscreen.
The current tailpiece is a Music City repro that greatly improves the intonation. One of the back plate screws is obviously not original. Other than that, it’s all there.
Ancient Honduran mahogany, Brazilian rosewood, the 1959 neck of legends and tone for days! The pickup absolutely HOWLS! I had the guitar Plek’d about a year ago.
Comes with a newer style Gibson hard case. These are only going up in value…
