Here's an exceptional all solid Yamaha No. 150 classical guitar, made in Japan in the early 1960s. This was the top of line model at the time, and proceeds the later "C", "G", and "CG" series. Unlike all of those, the No. 150 offered here is made of premium solid woods, a lovely spruce top over rosewood back and sides. In excellent condition, save for a reglued top seam separation and a large crack along the bass side which has been solidly glued and internally cleated. The crack has been sealed and colored but the repair remains visible and can be felt.
Other than the repair just the guitar is in very good condition with perfect classical action of around 3.5mm, a very tall saddle, solid bracing, a well attached bridge, etc. This is a very early import Yamaha classical and an exceptional guitar for the price, both when it was made and today.
Comes with a decent chip case, but please feel free to take off $25 if you don't want it. Come take a look!
