Here's a fun one, a mid-century Silvertone "Classic Guitar", made with a solid spruce top and solid mahogany sides and back. Marked and marketed as a classical guitar, the ladder bracing is actually identical to the steel string guitars being produced under the Harmony, Silvertone, and Kay labels of the time. For that reason, these guitars are actually perfect for light steel strings, and play absolutely beautifully, the wide fretboard leaving a lot of room for finger style play.
This example is very clean cosmetically, with only a few minor dents and scuffs. The binding is in great shape. It's playing very well with steel strings, with appropriate action and a nice high saddle, and can seamlessly be switched between steel and nylon strings as you prefer.
