I purchased this bass clarinet 10 years ago directly from the legendary Rayburn Music / Virtuosity Musical Instruments shop in Boston, Massachusetts. It received a complete professional refurbishment by their world-class woodwind specialists just before my purchase. It has been meticulously cared for in a climate-controlled environment, played gently, and maintained regularly.
Key Features & Authenticity Markers:
Serial Number: A6001 (Confirms a 1979 build date from the historic Mantes-la-Ville workshop in France).
Bell Stamp: Stamped "332" on the bell, matching Selmer's original factory sub-assembly numbers for a 100% genuine, original parts match.
Logos: Features the beautiful, original gold-embossed "Henri Selmer Paris / Déposé / France" logo on the wood joints.
Keywork: Non-articulated G# system (Model 30). Many orchestral players prefer this configuration because it features less complicated mechanical linkages, resulting in a lighter feel under the fingers and an action that stays in perfect adjustment.

Wood Body: Premium Grenadilla wood is in excellent condition. No cracks, pin repairs, or splits. The wood has been kept properly hydrated.
