Here's a well playing Recording King parlor guitar that someone got about 1/2 way through refinishing before giving up. I sanded off one or two remaining bits of finish and just gave it a few coats of TruOil as a surface protector. In my opinion it sounds great as is -- the factory finish on these guitars is very thick and tends to interfere with the sound. But the front of the guitar is ugly and it will be up to its new owner to either play it as is or take it to some next level. Offered at a discount for this reason.
It also came to me with a small top crack; this has been well glued and cleated and should not be of future significance.
Cases available. Your chance for a solid-top parlor guitar at a nice low price, and I'm open to trades and reasonable offers.
