Up for sale is an sweet little Mitchell DJ-120/N three-quarter size acoustic guitar, with a bag and strap. Built with a solid spruce top and an arched back, this little guitar sounds much larger and fuller than its small size would suggest. These are excellent little instruments.
As far as I can tell this is in NOS condition, and it even comes with the original box. However the saddle had been set low out of the factory and it was buzzing. The saddle has been replaced with bone -- an upgrade -- and the guitar is now playing perfectly with low action and lots of room to adjust the truss rod and saddle. Very good to mint cosmetically too.
This short scale guitar works great in both normal and "terz" tuning (tuned up three half steps). Freshly strung with extra light strings to accommodate either tuning, this guitar also plays well with stiffer strings.
Perfect for a student, camping, strumming on the couch, or anyone who doesn't want to wrestle with their guitar to play it. I've played dozens of models of small-bodied guitars and bang-for-buck these are among the best.
