Very nice player's example of an iconic Martin D-35, from 1973, at a bargain price. Playing very well with a lovely played-in tone. Excellent sound across the board. Decent neck angle for the age, plays well up the fretboard. Full bridge height but not a lot of saddle left.
Cosmetically definitely players' grade with significant pick wear. It has been sealed in some fashion and seems quite solid, there's plenty of depth of wood left, it's just definitely visible. Typical pickguard crack which has been patched well, and the pickguard replaced with a Martin official replacement. A small bit of wood at the crack was replaced with a sliver from an old Martin top. Two other cracks on the top have been previously glued/cleated and are not moving. The sides and back are gorgeous. Some fretwear on the lower frets. Dirty inside, and the end pin was previously drilled for an internal pickup so it's ready for an easy install if you go that route. (I'm happy to ship as is, or either install a pickup or end pin for a small additional cost.)
Comes with a hard case that is also worn but a good fit and very protective. Shipping available, fast, well protected, and fully insured.
