Laney has a reputation as something of a Vox clone and this foots the bill. I had two different modern AC-15s and found them both super-trebly and thin. I still like to crank the bass on the Laney but it's fuller -- still has that classic Vox chime and also an actual spring reverb tank. (The newer VL-15s do not.) Only selling because I want a heavier sound these days and I traded me a guitar for a Mesa Boogie And I need the bucks! 1-10" Celestion, 15 watts RMS. Can be quite loud for a little guy. Weighs... 27 lbs? You might also consider this before you become one more guy playing through a Blues Junior. :) I'm in Berkeley, off the University Ave. exit.
