Here's a funny old Harmony Stella H928 parlor guitar, likely from the early to mid 60s. USA made of all solid birch, these are fantastic guitars with a cult and mainstream following for their wonderful twang and tone, particularly prized in Blues and Country music.
This example is playing nicely in 1st and 2nd position, or fantastic for slide, but suffering from typical high action. Also a crack on the front was solidly repaired, and the top was removed to access and fix loose braces and somewhat improve the neck angle. All of these repairs are solid but leave the guitar in poor cosmetic condition and a bit funky. Frets above the 12th are removed, and the tuners are replacements.
So lots of warts but still a great-sounding, solid, player guitar that's domestic and made of all solid woods for a low price. Pick it up as a couch or travel guitar or more as a slide instrument.
Chip case available for another $25, just let me know
