Absolutely stunning Harmony Opus guitar from around 1975. A premium line built to compete with Martins and the excellent Japanese imports of the days, these guitars were close to state of the art, with light construction, X bracing, all solid woods, a truss rod (a decade before Martin!) and high end appointments.
This example is in excellent playing condition with a decent neck angle given the age, medium action, plenty of room on the truss rod, playing quite nicely all the way up to the 14th fret with solid intonation and no buzzing. A beautiful tone with great response.
Missing a pickguard but it was removed cleanly and a new one can be easily installed. I'm happy to provide a basic replacement, installed or loose, at no charge. Two small cracks noted on the top as pictured. Neither is moving; one is above the end block and the other is quite tight. I have left both as-is but am happy to glue them and cleat the one at no charge before shipping, just let me know.
Freshly strung with D'Addario 12-53 PBs. Comes with a worn but functional chip case; contact me if you'd me to change the listing to a hard case.
