Beautiful old archtop guitar, likely from the Harmony factory, but not labeled. Almost certainly US made in the 1950s or 1960s, solid birch.
This guitar came to me with action almost 1" high, no room to lower the bridge, and essentially unplayable. After a neck reset the bridge is back up high, and the action is down to an ideal 0.1". It's playing absolutely beautifully with a springy responsiveness, lovely sustain, and good volume.
The guitar was also cleaned extensively, and the original pick guard which was badly yellowed is now back to its shiny white.
