Aims guitars were vintage, "lawsuit-era" instruments made in Japan during the mid-1970s, known for being high-quality copies of popular American models. They were distributed in the US by Randall Instruments, a company founded by a former Fender sales and marketing director, Don Randall. " I would call this guitar to be in very good condition in spite of the repaired area visible in the back photo. There is practically no fretwear and the neck is very straight. The tuners are replacements but they work very smoothly and the sound is amazing, it sounds like an old Martin D18! The sound is a little on the bright side, probably due to the tunematic saddle but I wouldn't say the sound is overly bright because it has lots of depth in the bass area, which compensates a lot for that!
