Vintage Eko 995 Violin Bass - $425 (albany / el cerrito)

60's Eko hollowbody bass in very good player condition. A previous owner cut a hole in the back for electronics access and put a pad over it ( Gretsch did this in the 60's also) otherwise totally stock. Has the pickguard! (rare) and the original hang tag (more rare!).! Missing 2 screws in the tuners, tunes up and holds tune fine. Sounds and plays fine, no issues. Great 60's bass sound.Because it has F-holes it has a different sound than Hofner's- played unplugged it sounds kinda like a standup bass, would sound great miked like that.
