Selling a vintage arch top guitar. Feel free to make a reasonable offer. I would consider full/partial trade for a resonator, classical, parlor or others flat tops. I’ve cherished this guitar for many years. It’s sentimental. But I finally need to part with it to open up the possibility to acquire something different.
Details:
-Seems to have been built in the early 40s. Production years for this model was between 1935-1951.
-Engraved tortoise celluloid headpiece. Carved spruce top, maple back and sides. Rosewood fretboard. Mahogany or maple neck
-It was completely gone over back around 2004. The neck was reset. Tuners updated to Schallers. New bridge and metal tailpiece, hand cut period correct pick guard(though most of these originally came with wooden guard and tailpiece).
-it’s in great shape for its age, and plays well, but expect a lot of “character” - it’s part of the mojo
-sale includes a good hardshell case that fits snug
