The Italian Montgomery Wards Riverside is a Benelli that was re-badged here in the states. There is no difference mechanically between this and the Benelli 250's that were sold in Italy. The U.S. imports simply got a different name for U.S. sales. Underneath the engine side covers the castings read 'Benelli'. These bikes are very rare, especially the scrambler version. Stainless fenders by Inox. CEV lighting equipment and Tomaselli Super pratic throttle. Original black plate survivor. This is one of the coolest frames in the history of motorcycling. The bike runs, stops, and functions just as it did the day it left the dealer. It was fully gone through mechanically by a reputable vintage motorcycle shop and is a well sorted machine. Loads of NOS parts went into it. It is being offered from my personal collection. Running and riding links below.
