condition: excellent
make / manufacturer: Kawasaki
model name / number: KLR650
2006 Kawasaki KLR650. Excellent condition with 7300 miles. Has many nice aftermarket parts, including IMS polyethylene fuel tank with new petcock, handlebars, pillow-top touring seat, tall windshield, crash bars with highway pegs, and an unbranded muffler that looks like an FMF. Approximately 100 miles since last service, which included engine oil change, brake fluid change, rear caliber rebuild and brake pads, carburetor rebuild, new throttle cables, new tube and rim strip in rear wheel, new thermostat, chain adjust and lube, and thorough cleaning. Has new-ish Pirelli Rallycross tires with lots of tread (more than 10mm deep front and rear) and a new battery installed in April 2025. Comes with two large boxes of usable spare parts, including a new radiator fan, twist throttle, clutch and throttle cables, switches, short/medium/tinted windshields (3x), header pipe, bash plate, luggage rack, hoses, coolant tank, rear wheel hub and spare sprockets, etc.. The previous owner cut the lever tab off of the centerstand, which makes deploying the stand almost impossible. The new owner will need to either weld on another tab or find a replacement. The bike starts cold on the first click and does not leak any oil even after a long hot ride. Does NOT come with the original fuel tank. Has a clean title in my name and is registered through April 2026. Other than the centerstand, the bike has NO ISSUES and is ready for as big of an adventure as you can throw at it. Heading to Alaska? Cabo? Take this bike. Don’t miss this chance to get a low-miles and well-equipped legendary KLR.
