We're building a new facility and inventing how new materials are commercialized at scale. At Gantri, facilities isn't a support function... it's mission-critical infrastructure for everything we make.
We operate a 40,000+ sq. ft. digital manufacturing facility in the Bay Area combining 3D print farms, robotic systems, and industrial finishing operations. We're expanding, and the pace of that growth is accelerating. Every piece of equipment, every system, every square foot of new space has to work — reliably, safely, and on schedule.
THE ROLE
We're looking for a Senior Facilities Manager who can lead all of it.
This role reports to the VP of Manufacturing Technology.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in complex, fast-moving industrial environments. You'll own the full operational health of our facility (preventive maintenance, safety and compliance, vendor management, and major capital projects), and you'll be expected to think on your feet, manage complex technical problems, and move fast without sacrificing precision.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Own equipment reliability and infrastructure across a 40K+ sq. ft. industrial manufacturing facility
- Lead the 15K sq. ft. expansion from scoping through commissioning (on time, on budget, without stopping production)
- Manage contractors, trades, and vendors through complex builds and permitting processes
- Ensure safety and regulatory compliance across the facility (Cal/OSHA, BAAQMD, NFPA, stormwater, fire)
- Collaborate with engineering and operations on space planning and buildout design using AutoCAD
- Build the systems (PM programs, documentation, vendor accountability) that let a fast-growing company scale without breaking
WHO YOU ARE
- 7+ years in industrial facilities management: manufacturing, production, or industrial operations required; commercial/office backgrounds won't be considered
- You've owned a major industrial buildout from scope through commissioning, ideally while keeping production running
- Mechanically strong and technically fluent (compressed air, dust collection, electrical, HVAC, finishing equipment, etc.)
- AutoCAD proficient at an architectural level: you can read, mark up, and produce layout drawings
- You know Bay Area permitting and don't need a hand-holder to navigate BAAQMD, city building permits, or NFPA 33
- Track record across multiple organizations; breadth of environments matters
