Production Associate is responsible for safely and efficiently packaging finished goods according to company specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. This bridges production and packaging operations, ensuring products are protected, labeled correctly, and ready for shipment.
Essential Duties:
• Perform sanitation duties and material handling.
• Inspect and quality check all products. Maintain accurate count of material processed.
• Communicate irregularities, problems, and process concerns.
• Observe and monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Perform quality checks and meet product specifications.
• Clean and maintain equipment using proper sanitation practices.
• Maintain a safe and clean workplace.
• Perform other duties as assigned
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:
• Walk, kneel, squat, bend, and stand.
• Reach, twist, lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Wear appropriate safety equipment and protective gear.
A Qualified Candidate must:
• Have a work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, under pressure, and deadline-oriented environment.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Must have good written and oral communication skills.
• Must have a positive attitude.
• Experience operating Forklift beneficial.
• Basic Math Skills
• Bilingual -English/Spanish beneficial.
