CNC Programmer (Milling Focus)
We are a growing manufacturer experiencing significant expansion through new contracts in the government, medical device, and advanced automation sectors. We are looking for a dedicated CNC Programmer to join our team in an onsite, full-time capacity.
This role is ideal for a skilled manufacturing professional who wants to focus on programming and process support while contributing to a fast-paced, prototype-heavy environment.
Role Overview
You will work closely with our lead programmer, engineering staff, and shop floor machinists to handle mid-level programming tasks. This is a hands-on position that requires a strong foundation in machining; while the primary focus is on milling-based programming.
• Location: Livermore, CA
• Pay Rate: $40.00 – $55.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
• Overtime: Variable based on workload; currently, overtime opportunities are available and expected to continue in the near term.

Key Responsibilities
• Programming: Create, modify, and optimize 2D and 3D milling programs using Mastercam.
• Technical Support: Provide troubleshooting assistance on the shop floor, develop setup instructions, and create tool lists for production personnel.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with engineering and production teams to ensure manufacturing goals are met.
Required Qualifications
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of CNC programming experience, ideally complemented by 5–10 years of hands-on machining experience.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Mastercam is required.
• Machining Knowledge: A thorough understanding of machining various materials (e.g., aluminum, steel, stainless, copper, plastics).
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are essential for working with our team.
