Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Operator I to support sub-assembly and server rack assembly operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role involves assembling components, installing hardware, labeling cables, and supporting production flow while following established manufacturing procedures and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Follow written procedures, instructions, and work sequences to assemble components and sub-assemblies
Unpack, prepare, and transport materials between warehouse and production areas
Perform product assembly on simple components and sub-assemblies
Utilize hand tools and power screwdrivers to install brackets and small components
Install rails to rack specifications
Identify, scan, and label racks according to specifications
Identify and label cables using cable labeling equipment
Support general production and packaging activities
Complete additional assigned tasks as needed
Qualifications & Skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Familiarity with manufacturing documentation
Basic mechanical aptitude
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift, push, and/or move up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand for extended periods
Comfortable working on ladders
Strong manual dexterity
