SUMMARY: This position is a liaison among eBusiness, Consumer Affairs, Consumers, Fulfillment and Drop-Ship Partners. Drives performance of eBusiness by matching online product mix with market trends, collaborating on assortment development, monitoring inventory and working with Purchasing to negotiate with vendors. Exercises judgment and discretion with regard to inventory/product management, forecasting and profitability.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for maintaining all aspects of the product catalog, including product structures, pricing, on-site categorization, product description copy (information accuracy, formatting, spelling and grammar) and images.
Provides product mix and sales forecasting input, monitoring product performance and making recommendations regarding items to add, expand and/or delete.
Monitors inventory levels versus sales trends/run-rates to ensure product availability and fulfillment. Coordinates and communicates inventory conversions. Monitors expiration dates of products in eBusiness inventory via Aging Reports and recommends strategies for managing the aged products. Adds/removes items from website catalog as inventory levels and/or aging dictate and communicates changes to Consumer Affairs, eBusiness and Fulfillment.
Attends meetings and communicates with other departments to stay informed about the evolution of the JBCC product lines, relaying pertinent information to all relevant parties.
Manages external sales channels (Rakuten, Amazon, etc.):
• Optimizes product selection & sales
• Responsible for inventory planning, scheduling and delivery
• Works with Accounting to ensure Partner payment
• Ensures compliance with fulfillment and customer-service policies
Communicates with Fulfillment and Consumer Affairs to ensure timeliness of order fulfillment. Tracks fulfillment rates and fulfillment-related issues, including Returned Merchandise Authorizations, noting trends and recommending strategies for improvement.
Handles all non-routine customer-service issues including, but not limited to: escalated customer issues, delayed or lost shipments, technical (website) issues and fraud/chargeback activities. Supports Consumer Affairs in handling overflow during periods of high volume.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• 1-2 years of experience and/or training in a retail or catalog environment; and
• 1-2 years of experience in customer service-related field; manufacturing environment preferred
• Must have exceptional organizational skills & be detailed-oriented with the ability to multi-task
• Must possess strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Must be able to work independently, as well as part of a team
• Must be computer literate with competence in Excel, Word, Outlook strongly preferred
• Familiarity with ERP, inventory forecasting/management, website Admin and/or CMS systems strongly preferred
Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
