I was walking up Schlessinger Way and from a short distance I saw something fall out of your pocket as both of us were walking in the direction of the Campanile in the distance, you maybe 20 yards ahead of me. I went to pick up the purple packet and, upon lifting it and immediately thinking “oh, I’m not sure what to do with this”, you apparently did a 180 and was gliding toward me, which gave me no choice but to let you know you had dropped this as I apologized for the awkwardness of the handoff. You accepted the returned item with such … gracefulness. Obviously you would not have required or accepted such an offer, but this morning as I was thinking about the handoff I thought I should have offered to accompany you on your walk through the campus to your event, given that the reason for your 180 appears to have been an approaching scruffian in the first place. Hope you enjoyed the event you attended on campus, as I am sure you did.
