About the Brand
Casually Uncommon was founded in San Francisco's Mission district in 2013. It aimed to create loud and funky garments that countered the trends of time. We pioneered uni-size and uni-sex apparel so that our items would not only be accessible, but interchangeable for different wearers.
Nearly 7 years, 10 collections, and 5 music videos later, Casually Uncommon
has graced the Grammy's Red Carpet, produced photoshoots in 6 countries and is working towards major expansion. With the partnering of Dalya Azulai and Jennifer Laughlin, the brand is primed and ready for big moves.
Today Casually Uncommon is gearing up for a massive crowdfunding campaign. We hope to be manufacturing our apparel here in Oakland by 2020.
We are also applying to show our sportswear collection at Sacramento Fashion Week Spring 2020.
Casually Uncommon is producing their first short film this winter centered around the themes of love and inclusivity.
We hope to boost up the lives of as many humans as possible. Whether that be helping everyone from aspiring models to experienced mural painters, we will bring as many big hearted and driven people on this journey with us as we can.
Who are you?
We need an ambitious, kind hearted and open minded intern to join our LBTQ+ driven, fabric re-purposing, sweatshop-free brand!
Most importantly we are looking for an individual who is passionate about art. We want people who have a deep connection to fashion through personal expression/ authentic and thoughtful clothing choice. You are excited by culture and uniqueness and have a deep yearning to make the world a better place.
