2015 Yamaha FJ09 (Tracer)
I purchased in March of 2021 at about 18.5k miles. Swapped the crappy Corbin seat for a Sargent seat (so, so much more comfortable). Put 5k+ miles on it that summer/fall. Thought it would be my forever bike. Proceeded to install fully adjustable K-tech suspension (fork cartridges plus Razor shock). New Pirelli Angel GT tires. New chain & sprockets, VCycleNut tune, upgraded air filter, manual CCT, AIS delete, full Leo Vince exhaust (retains the center stand). I swapped the bars to the later version from a 2019 model after riding a buddies and liking that position more. Installed the slipper clutch/housing from XSR900 (OEM are noisy clutches) at about 24k miles. Bunch more that I forget winter/spring of 2022. Also has an integrated tail light - but I prefer having the rear fender as it is now (both are wired).
At about 24k miles had Rich @ MotoSource Reno adjust the manual CCT, perform full valve inspection and adjustment, fresh coolant, sync the throttle bodies and give it a once over - April of 2022. Rode it a bit more, got divorced, and bought my dream bike at the time (2021 Aprilia Tuono V4 - you can find that for sale on here too, as it’s really too much for this old man these days). FJ09 genuinely needs nothing but to be ridden, true of all my bikes I guess. 1,750 miles approx since last oil/filter change.
Selling because I bought (2) new bikes this year, and garage is full. Giving a great deal because life has been good to me and I love building good moto karma. Includes factory side bags, adjustable heated grips, ABS + traction control, factory hand guards (not on bike at moment) and Givi top box. Dog carrier shown in photos not included - will go on one of the new bikes as the pooches love to go for a spin. Bags connection quick release tank bag included as well. Any stock bits I still have around will also be included. All mods + tires + chain/sprockets etc. were done ~ 2k miles back.
Message with real questions and I’ll answer them. Price is firm - cash only - no trades. It’s ready to ride anywhere. I’d go cross country on it today without hesitation. Tempted to keep it just for buddies that come to town and need a bike to ride for some fun excursions, but really prefer not to have (5) bikes, haha!
