2010 KTM 1190 RC8R Akrapovic Limited Edition

Lucky Number 7 of 25 limited units to ever reach North American shores is now for sale!

Number 7 has mostly lived in the Pacific North West and Northern California enjoying some coastal bliss, but it has also seen a track or two and a few good trips! Number 7 also comes with the optional KTM ‘club kit’, a 10hp gain with the introduction of the Akrapovic EVO4 unob-Titanium exhaust, head gaskets and updated mapping.

The original RC8 featured a 1,195cc V-Twin engine that put out 170 horsepower and lots of adjustability – both levers, the bars, subframe/seat, pegs, shifter, brake pedal, and ride height.
It initially debuted in 2008 in Europe, but a year later they offered the RC8R, which came with several upgrades including forged Marchesini alloy wheels, shorter wheelbase, more power (180 hp), carbon fiber front fender, orange powder-coated frame, WP suspension, and radially-mounted Brembo monobloc calipers and was finally available to USA buyers in 2010.

Number 7 has some additional upgrades, including a Sato shifter support, Annitori Quick Shifter, Puig windscreen, BMC Air Filter and Motion Pro Rev3 throttle kit & cables. Recent services include a new battery, oil and brake fluid changes, and service of the front fork with original Motorex fork fluid. The exhaust was fully disassembled, cleaned and re-packed with original materials and a DB killer inserted that can be removed via a simple screw. Currently shod with some Dunlop Q3s with lots of life left….should you wish to ride it.

A full complement of spares comes with 7 including a complete set of used plastics from a parted out Akrapovic in Europe. The original exhaust, passenger seat and pegs, brand new original clear windscreen, original rear tail pack and a bike cover.

Number 7 is not perfect but pretty damn nice for a night out on the town. Serious inquiries only, do not need any trades thanks. Can also be delivered within the region for confirmed buyers - just ask.
