After much debate, I have decided to part ways with my Road Glide. This thing has been a labor of love to say the least. I purchased it new in February of 2022, from what is now, East Bay Harley Davidson. My intentions were to keep it fairly stock and ride the piss out of it, but as you can see, that went out the window. Working on Harley's is a hobby of mine, and I have done everything I would ever want to do to this bike, which is my reason for the sale. Onto the next project. I have done everything you see on my own, aside from the paint and powder coat. I am meticulous when it comes to my bike, especially the motor. All of the parts are are cleaned. All of the threaded holes are chased to ensure accurate torque specs. I have replaced nearly every bolt on the bike with stainless 12pt ARP bolts. Even bolts you cannot see. Some of them were special ordered, as they needed to be turned down to fit certain applications. I would say I have close to $2000 in bolts alone. All of the internal bolts are ARP as well. There were zero expenses spared. The flywheel was an off the shelf part and from the factory, had poor runout, so I sent it to Matthew at Thunder Motorcycles where he took the entire thing apart and rebuilt it, as even the clearance on the big end of the rod wasn't in spec. It was balanced to the pistons in the motor. Runout is .0008". I had the bike tuned at RAM Racing and it made 147hp and 153 ft lbs. The bike has 10,600 miles on it. The motor itself has 460 miles. Mostly everything you see in it's current state, was done within the last year, so it's fairly fresh. Something I am particularly proud of is my fog lamp setup. I welded the brackets to the crash bar and drilled holes so that I could run the wires internally. Then had the whole thing powder coated, I removed the 12v outlet and replaced it with a halo push button that runs to a relay in the fairing. I also recently installed the dimmable headlight harness, because if you're not familiar with the Baja Designs LP6 headlights, they are freaking bright! Great for you, not so great for oncoming traffic. The module is programable so you can have different power levels, but I didn't get that far. The button for that is inside the left glove compartment. I'm not a fan of drilling holes in my fairing. The purple isn't for everyone, but I wanted a pop of color and it compliments the Gunship Grey well. It looks pretty crazy in the sunlight. I listed mostly everything done to the bike below, which if you want to take the time to add it all up, you'll understand why I am asking what I'm asking. I do not want to trade ANYTHING for this bike. One thing I want you to know is that I still have a $13,000 note on the bike owed to HD Financial. I have sold a dozen cars/bikes that I didn't own outright. Typically I do a bill of sale, and then I will type up a promissory note stating that I will take payment, pay the loan off and once I receive the pink slip, we can meet up again and I will sign it over to you. I'm not a piece of shit who's trying to screw anyone out o f anything. Thanks for looking and if you have any questions, give me a holler.
