Offering my 1969 Triumph Bonneville T120R. $8950/offr. Excellent condition. Ground up restoration by professional machinist. If you want a vintage motorcycle that's turn-key ready, look no further. (I have a video of it running but can’t see how to add it. I can email or text it if you’re interested).
All paperwork and pictures documenting the process included. Runs perfectly. I've owned and ridden vintage Triumph's since 1980. This is arguably the best! (Bob made improvements such as using sealed bearings).
Serious only please call 9two5-64o-o363. Cash in hand will give you an unlimited test ride. I will entertain reasonable cash offers. No trades, thank you. I also have a 2004 Harley Sportster. 1200 custom. Flawless. 8,500 miles (hwy. -one trip to Sturgis and a few trips up the coast highway) All original paperwork with it. I adapted a 60’s Sporty seat. I’m 6’-2” and it’s a lot more comfortable. The original grab-rail is included, but I took it off to fit the Harley backrest/luggage rack.
But I have the Mustang seat that came with it, that I have over-stuffed, if you would prefer that -and optional pillion). OR the seat from a 1970s Electra Glide. Has forward controls with deluxe folding foot pegs, screamin’ eagle exhaust. Recent H D battery. One of the last carbureted models.
And have HD quick release windshield, with oversized Clearview recurve windshield. $5900/offer). Please note: I have left the Bonne in the colors Bob used because it’s just too beautiful to strip/re-paint. The best features are not visible -they’re in the machine work -which is superior to the original Factory build. One example of this: Bob, being a professional machinist, wisely upgraded to the ‘78 5-speed gearbox -which shifts like butter, compared to the original “clunky” 4 speed. Electronic ignition. He re-zeroed the odometer upon completion, so it now has approximately 4,200 miles on it. Also a lithium ion battery. Thank you. Oh, the “throwback” paint Bob refers to is from the 1952 Triumph, and is gorgeous. Calif. Reg. (Non-op) Just renewed. Bike is now in Oakhurst 93644. I’ve retired to here. Reasonable cash offer considered. I need to sell one or both bikes. AND/OR I would sell my 1969 Triumph TR6C (that was “roadster”ized: added tach and low pipes. Also electronic ignition. Runs perfectly, but does leak some oil. $8,500 obo
I NEED TO SELL ONE OR MORE, GUYS. Thanks. Call/text: 9two5-64o-o363
Addendum: these Triumph’s are my favorite motorcycles, but at 6’2” and having back surgery that has fused much of my spine, the riding position is not quite comfortable as it used to be. So I guess I’m leaning toward keeping the Harley (regretfully, because I will really miss the trumpets!)
Thanks
