Voice Lessons (Oakland)

I am an opera singer and voice teacher who recently located to the Bay Area. I have an undergraduate degree in musical theater and a master's degree in opera performance. I have also performed jazz, pop, and I have participated in a few smaller country groups. I have extensive experience with teaching and interacting with children. With my educational and performance background, I feel comfortable teaching almost any style, except maybe screamo. Teaching voice is where I feel at home.
- Emphasis on vocal cross training ... the practice of using vocal techniques from different styles of singing to reach your end goal
- Singing is feeling… assistance with acting through music
- Lesson plans tailored to you
- Your goals are my goals, whether it's preparing for an audition or feeling more confident singing in your car
- Ages 8+ are welcome, adults and children are both welcome (parents may stay with your child and I during the lesson, there’s a place just for you!)
- Specialized help with auditions... college, choral, and otherwise (this can include help with monologues)
- In person and online lessons offered
