VERY EXPERIENCED DRUM TEACHER in Oakland's Maxwell Park, offering FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING to children and adults of all ages and all genders. REASONABLE RATES. I am a professional female drummer with 30+ years of performing experience and 20+ continuous years of teaching drum set to both children and adults. As a woman, I do love encouraging women and girls to play this instrument. Boys and men are always welcome too! Lessons are a combination of serious instruction and FUN. If you have never played drums, I can have you playing along with recorded music within 1-2 lessons.

Unlike music schools, I never charge by the month unless someone prefers that option. So if a student can't make a lesson and gives me even somewhat reasonable notice, they will not be charged. Since I work on my own, I am able to go out of my way to help. Students are allowed to call me if they are having a problem with a particular exercise, or anything else.
